Never have I encountered this much meaningless noise on the page. What isn't noise is usually alright, but all the wordswordswords amounts to an unenjoyable experience. Also seems like the girls have shunned Parry not because she's black, but because she's annoying, which is awfully impressive in the 50s that they can see so far past prejudice to see that Parry's nonsense, and nothing else, merits her pariahdom.
